Wood Farm has eight lovely cottages, each lovingly converted from traditional Norfolk flint barns. The Beech cottage is the largest, sleeping up to six guests in three spacious bedrooms. The single-storey cottage boasts a large open-plan living area and is suitable for wheelchair users. Chestnut cottage, which sleeps four guests is also single storey, it is adapted but not fully accessible. The Ash and Elm cottages accommodate five guests respectively; each with a twin room, a single room and double (in Ash the double is also an ensuite). The Rowan and Oak cottages both sleep four guests. In Oak, you’ll find a gorgeous vaulted ceiling living room and kitchen, opening out onto a garden. In Rowan, the cosy living area has great views over the garden. The open-plan living area in the two-bed Holly cottage opens onto a peaceful, fenced garden. Whilst the smallest cottage on the site, Willow has one bedroom accommodating two guests, but with the option of two extra sleeping on the gallery level. It also benefits from a warming wood burner.
The double rooms across all cottages are king size, with crisp linens and fluffy towels provided. Every cottage enjoys fast and free wifi, plus unlimited hot water and central heating from the biomass boilers. Modern and immaculate family bathrooms and ensuites are a dream to use, with powerful Aqualisa showers found in several of the cottages. Outside each gorgeous home is an equally lovely outside area with patio furniture where you can relax, enjoy a drink, read a book and bask in the peace and quiet – only interrupted by occasional shrieks of delight from the kids on the zip wire! And although the cottages share a site and grounds, there is still a great feeling of privacy. For young families, the Rowan, Oak and Holly cottages have fenced gardens for extra safety – particularly useful if you have a wayward toddler set on exploring the world. Additional toddler and baby equipment including travel cots, high chairs, bed guards, steps, stair gates and child-friendly crockery are available in all the properties on request. There is a shared laundry room with washers and dryer available for use by all guests.
